 Individual  Therapy

Healing and Support for Each Stage of Life

Life can pull us in many directions, toward responsibilities, relationships, expectations, or the pressure to keep it together even when things feel overwhelming. Individual therapy offers a private, unhurried place to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself, especially when you’ve been carrying more than you let on.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, healing from trauma, rebuilding after a painful breakup, or simply trying to feel more grounded, therapy can help you find more steadiness, clarity, and a renewed sense of belonging in your own life. I work with adults age 21 years and older, offering support that matches the emotional depth and life experiences this stage of adulthood holds.

Support for Life’s Challenges

Everyone experiences moments when life feels heavier than expected. I work with individuals who are coping with:

• Anxiety and depression: when worry, overwhelm, or low mood start interfering with the life you want to live and you feel like you can’t fully relax, even on “good” days.

• Trauma recovery: when you are making sense of experiences that left lasting emotional echoes and still show up in your body, your sleep, or your sense of safety.

• Major life transitions: when changes in work, identity, relationships, or family roles stir up uncertainty and self-doubt and leave you asking, “Who am I in this now?”

These experiences can make it difficult to know how to move forward or even where to begin. Therapy is a space where you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Recovery from Unhealthy, Narcissistic & Toxic Relationships

Toxic relationships often leave deep emotional imprints including confusion, self-blame, anxiety, or the sense that you’ve lost yourself while trying to keep the peace or avoid the next blow-up.

I work with individuals who are trying to find their footing again after:

  • Chronic manipulation or gaslighting

  • Emotional neglect or invalidation

  • Cycles of idealization and devaluation

  • Codependency shaped by fear, duty, or survival

  • Repeatedly minimizing our own needs to maintain connection, then feeling guilty when we finally speak up

Many people come to therapy feeling exhausted, unsure of their worth, or disconnected from the person they once were. Healing begins with understanding what you lived through is a response to pain, longing, and unmet emotional needs, and a real attempt to stay connected and safe.

Divorce, Separation & Rediscovering Yourself

I also support clients moving through divorce or separation, whether the relationship ended because of toxicity, incompatibility, or a mutual recognition that it was time to part.  This season often brings grief, relief, confusion, and possibility, sometimes all at once.

Therapy becomes a place to:

  • Mourn not only what was lost, but what could have been

  • Make sense of relational patterns without turning it into self-blame

  • Rebuild self-trust

  • Reconnect with your own voice, values, and needs

  • Explore dating again without losing yourself in the process

Together, we make space for both the tenderness and courage that come with opening your heart to something new, including the parts of you that are still learning how to feel safe again.

Rebuilding Self-Worth & Healthy Boundaries

Our work focuses on helping you:

  • Strengthen your internal sense of worth

  • See relational red flags more clearly, including the subtle ones that are easy to miss

  • Set boundaries without guilt and stay anchored when someone doesn’t like them

  • Trust your own clarity again: your feelings are information.

  • Build connections that feel mutual and emotionally safe

  • Move toward a life that reflects your authentic self

It’s a process of remembering who you are, not in relation to someone else’s needs or expectations, but in alignment with your own.

A Safe Space for Healing

Individual therapy with me offers:

• Confidential, compassionate support grounded in emotional safety, with protected time and steady attention.

• A space where your story is met with respect, steadiness, and understanding.

• Tools drawn from emotion-focused work, CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, and gentle, practical guidance to help you understand your own emotional patterns.

Virtual appointments that bring flexibility and comfort into your healing process, while keeping the work intentional and not rushed.

Whether you’re grieving, rebuilding, or rediscovering the parts of yourself that have gone quiet, therapy becomes a place where every feeling has room to breathe and every step forward counts, no matter how small.
